四、教学过程
Step 1.歌曲、chant热身,营造快乐氛围。
1. Greetings.
T: Good afternoon boys and girls.
Ss: Good afternoon teacher. How are you?
T: I’m fine, thank you! And you ?
Ss: I’m fine, too. Thanks! Today we’ll learn a new lesson. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes! I can do it.You can do it.We can do it. (Ss do and say.)
2. T: Well down! Sit down, please! Do you remember the song: One little, two little, three little fingers…(老师开始唱起来,学生随着老师一起演唱回忆前面学过的这首歌曲。)
Ss: Yes!
T: OK! Let’s sing the song.《Ten Little Fingers》loudly together. Show me your hands, please. (Play the tape.)
《Ten Little Fingers》
One little, two little, three little fingers.
Four little, five little, six little fingers.
Seven little, eight little, nine little fingers.
Ten fingers on my hands.
3. Listen and chant.
(1)T:Very good! Today numbers are having a party.Do you want to have a look?
Ss:Yes.
T: Please look at the screen and listen carefully,then repeat. (Play the tape.)
Numbers are having a party.

All of them are dancing happily.
(2)Practise then show in groups.
(3)Look at the picture and speak the word “happily”.
T: If you are happy.You should share your happiness.
(设计意图:通过演唱《Ten Little Fingers》这首英文儿歌复习前面所学的数字,为学生营造轻松愉快的学习氛围,为后面的chant教学做好铺垫,利用chant的节奏感,进一步巩固20到90的数字。happily的教学更是巧妙,不仅在chant的学习中自然而然的引出,更是利用这个单词引申出另一种含义,即幸福快乐应一起分享,适时渗透情感教育。)
Step 2. 游戏导入,引发学生思考。
T:Let’s play a game: Can you guess?(Show a box)
T: I have a beautiful box.There are some things in it. They can eat.What are they? Can you guess?
Ss say one by one.
T: Yes, you are right. They are sweets. How many? Do you know? Let’s count together: One, two, three…Yes, there are forty. Now this class we’ll learn the new lesson: There are forty. (板书)并呈现出本节课学习任务(Task:Let's make a survey of families.)这节课我们的任务是要进行家庭人口调查,看看大家家里都有几口人。How many people are there in your family?
(设计意图:通过猜糖果的游戏,激发学生学习的好奇心和求知欲,活跃课堂气氛。通过数糖果,引导学生积极地投入到数数中,并随着糖果数量的增加,复习数字单词,自然引出本课课题,呈现本节课学习任务。)
Step 3. 课堂合作,练习收获!

Answer: There are forty. (Talk in groups.)
(设计意图:此环节重点培养学生的听力水平和对数字的敏感度。在学习课文之前,让学生带着问题去听课文,给学生以“任务”,培养学生思考问题的能力和积极学习的态度。)
2. Listen and repeat.
(设计意图:此环节听音跟读,训练学生的听音、模仿能力。)
3. Read and understand, then group work and act out.(小组合作、互帮互助)

6. Play a game: I do you count.
T: I like skipping. Do you like skipping?
Ss: Yes!
T: Let’s count.(教师跳绳学生数数)
(设计意图:通过两列数字的对比,使学生能够清晰发现十几以-teen结尾及整十以-ty结尾的规律,并突出强调-teen和-ty的读音。在此基础上,设计游戏环节进一步巩固数字发音,游戏跳绳比赛激发了学生对数字的兴趣。)
Step 4. 巩固训练,提升能力。
1. Look and say.
T: Let’s talk about “the Lake School and the Park School”.
Eg: A: There are seventy pupils in Lake School.
B: There are ninety pupils in Park School.
Read after me. (教师领读表格中短语)
2. Practise then show in groups. (合作练习我第一。)
3. Listen and chant.
播放韵句的动画,请学生看动画,整体感知韵诗。播放朗读韵句的录音,请学生逐句跟读。在此播放韵句录音,请学生跟着录音说韵句。最后请学生分小组练习并展示小组练习成果。Ten big lions at the zoo.
Twenty bears and a kangaroo.
Thirty elephants in a row.
Forty monkeys go high and low.
Fifty tigers I can see.
Sixty parrots in the tree.
Seventy cats and eighty dogs.
Ninety birds and one hundred frogs.
(设计意图:Chant有韵律,有节奏,朗朗上口,能够帮助学生尽可能准确地学习语音,使枯燥的教学变得丰富有趣,学生在愉快的氛围中轻松掌握了数字发音。)
4.Make a survey.(小组合作我最棒)
小组进行家庭人口调查:How many people are there in your family? There are…请学生四人一组展开调查,并仿照示例进行回答。学生参加调查时,要说出家庭的总人数。如爷爷奶奶、外公外婆也和自己同住,要把他们计算进家庭总人数中。请各组选出一名组长,对小组成员的家庭成员构成和总人数进行记录。然后,小组进行排火车展示。
5. Game: Throw a ball. (人人争做游戏主角)
游戏规则:老师站在学生前面,背向学生抛球,球离手后转身面对学生,谁接到球就和老师进行对话练习。(How many people are there in your family?--- There are…)对话结束后,由这名同学取代老师的位置,上前抛球继续游戏。
6. Show time: Introduce your family. (表演、展示我最棒。)
Eg:I’m Guo Tong. There are three people in my family. My father is a worker (teacherfarmer). My mother is a worker too. I’m a pupil. I love my father and my mother. They love me. I have a happy family. That’s all. Thank you!
(设计意图:利用游戏、小组调查、个人家庭介绍等多种不同方式进行句型操练,使学生处于积极思维的状态之中,让他们在真实的情境中有效输出,全方位、多角度培养学生运用英语的能力,真正实现学以致用的目标。)
Step 5. 总结点评,激励进步。
1、T:I’ve learnt I should share the happiness in this class. What have you learnt in this class? Ss say one by one.
2、评价小组的表现情况。师生一起数一数小组黑板评价栏获得星星得数量,进一步巩固了本节课数字读音,教师对获胜小组进行加分及糖果奖励。
(设计意图:教师通过谈本节课自己的收获,以提问的方式问学生:今天你学习到了什么?学生踊跃交流所学到的知识,包括单词,短语,句型等等。这一环节的设计加强了学生对本课内容的理解和运用,培养学生养成良好的学习习惯。激励性评价激发了学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性。)
Step 6. 布置作业,课后延伸。
1.能够熟练说出本节课所学的数字。(一颗星)
2.向家人或伙伴展示本节课所学chant。(两颗星)
3.能够运用本节课所学重点句型:How many people are there?及答语:There are…谈论同伴家庭人口情况。(三颗星)
