一、教学目标:
认知目标:
能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写四个表示动作的短语:do one’s homework, read newspapers, cook, make the bed
初步掌握现在进行时态的概念、构成、用法等。
能力目标:
能正确运用现在进行时态询问别人正在做什么,培养学生用英语交际、用英语解决实际问题的能力。
情感目标:
关注学生在学习过程中积极愉悦的情感体验。培养学生自信开口、积极思维的习惯。
二、教学重难点:
1. 重点:
a. 能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写四个表示动作的短语:do one’s homework, read newspapers, cook, make the bed
b. 掌握句型:What are you doing? I’m ….What are they doing? They’re ….What is heshe doing? He’sShe’s ….
2. 难点:
现在进行时态的理解、运用;现在分词的常见构成形式及读音。
三、教学准备:
多媒体课件、单词卡片、句子卡片、报纸。
四、教学过程:
Step 1: Warm-up and Revision
1. T: Boys and girls, when I’m happy, I like singing. Please listen. 师唱“You are my sun shine, my sun shine …” I like singing. What do you like?
S1: I like swimming.
T: Oh, a brave boy! I can’t swim.
T: Do you like swimming?
S2: No, I don’t. I like dancing.
T: You like dancing! Can you dance for us?
S2: Yes. (该生简单跳几个动作。)
T: Excellent! (教师带领其他学生鼓掌。)
T: What do you like?
S3: I like ….
T: By the way, do you like me?
S3: Yes, I do.
T: Thank you.
2. Revision
a. 课件出示一组动词及其“+ing”形式:
sing singing
read reading
do doing
jog jogging
swim swimming
shop shopping
b. 引导认真读,体味“动词+ing形式”的正确发音;仔细看、找规律并总结。
Step 2: Presentation and Practice
1. 师做动作放风筝,引导学生问自己What are you doing? 师答I am flying a kite. 再做做作业的动作,引出本课第一个句型 What are you doing? I am doing my homework.领读此句型,并使学生理解其含义。
2. 操练现在进行时的第一人称。
生生之间任意互问并做相应的动作。
3. 课件出示一个漂亮的房子,让学生说出房子里的房间,并告诉学生们,我们班的一些学生正在房间里,你们想看看他们正在干什么吗?
4. 课件出示本班一名男学生正在看报的图片,师问Who is he ? What is he doing? 生答 He is reading newspapers in the living room. 领读此句型,并使学生理解其含义。
5. 课件出示本班一个女学生正在做饭的图片,师问Who is she? What is she doing? 生答 She is cooking in the kitchen. 领读此句型,并使学生理解其含义。
6. 操练现在进行时的第三人称。
课件出示4幅学生家长在家做事的照片,让学生互问互答What is Linda’s mother doing? She is watching TV in the living room. What is Clark’s father doing? He is eating in the dining room. What is Michael’s sister doing? She is sleeping in the bedroom.
7. 课件出示两个学生正在整理床铺的图片,让学生自编对话What are they doing? They are making the bed. 领读此句型,并使学生理解其含义。
8. Have a match.
几个男生和女生分别到前面抽卡片,然后按卡片做动作(一分钟限时),其他学生猜他们的动作 They are …
9. Listen to the tape and follow it.
10. 教师总结。
现在进行时态:
现在进行时表示说话时正在进行或发生的动作,也可表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
它有两个缺一不可的条件:
助动词 be ( am / is / are )
现在分词(动词+ing)
课件出示5道改错题以巩固现在进行时态的构成。
T: The bell is ringing. Class is over. “Goodbye, boys and girls!”
S: Goodbye, Miss Liu!
