(用连词连接各部分)Details ExamplesRepetitionsAn example It was dusk and as I walked alone through the mountains of Greece, I came across six large wolves that were feeding on the body of a dead animal. I had heard many stories about wolves as a child and it was this animal that I feared more than any other.
As I approached, the wolves left the body and started walking towards me, one after another. They stopped about 20 metres from me and stared. The animals looked both beautiful and terrifying. As I drew nearer, the lead wolf raised its head and let out a loud howl. The awful cry rang out across the silent valley. A more frightening sound I had never heard. I was almost certain it signalled death.
Every moment I expected to see the pack dash at me. I knew my only hope was to show my courage. I walked past the line of wolves, like a general moving among his soldiers. They howled out again. But when they saw that their war-cry did not cause me to change my direction or make me run, they feared to come after me; so they let me pass and returned to the dead animal.
Had I turned back or tried to run away when they marched out to meet me I am certain the whole pack would have attacked me in a moment. But my show of courage scared them and kept them back.

Last Sunday I went fishing. After setting up my fishing rod with bait, I sat down on the bank of the lake. But two hours later, I didn’t catch any fish. I got very angry and began to pack up my stuff, preparing to go back home.
Just then, I saw an old man sitting near me. To my surprise, his basket was full of fish, so I went over to him, wanting to know why. “Excuse me, but how long have you sat here?” I asked. “About four hours,” he answered. “Four hours?” I couldn’t believe my ears. “Yes. It’s very important to be patient,” the old man said. “Don’t consider fishing a tiring sport. Just enjoy it.” Suddenly, I understood what he said. I must learn to be patient. Then I sat there and waited for fish patiently. I felt a fish touch the bait, but I didn’t move and waited for the right moment to reel it in. At last, I caught it. This made me very happy. In the following six hours, I caught over 10 fish.
On my way home, I thought what had happened on the bank. I gradually realized that the secret of success was patience.Follow the stepsStep 1 Finish the task individually (check the spelling and grammatical mistakes on our own)
