3Have the students talk about the pictures.
1a Ask the students to look at the picture on page 57 and complete 1a individually.
1b Ask the students to read the names of the books firstly, and make sure they can understand the meanings.And then play the recording .
1c The teacher ask s two students to read the conversation in 1a to the class. Then they do pairworksto make other conversations using the information in 1b.
Explain any of the pictures that they don’t understand. Play the recording 2 or 3 times if necessary,then check the answers.
Ask two or three pairs to read the model conversation to the class,.
Pick several pairs to present their conversations to the class.
