讲授新课15’ Show a lot of different traffic signs to them and teach the new phrase: traffic signs and write on the board; Do you know other traffic signs in our daily life Teacher shows the four new directions phrase on the screen: and use the pictures, word cards and video to teach them ; 5. Shows the other four places words to them and learn them; Listen to the tape and repeat; and do the listening practice; Show the picture of busy street and guess: Who will be in the street What is it talking about What is the end Use the pictures of the story and ask them to retell the story in their own words;Teacher the new phrases in the story: Go straight at the corner/to the bus stop; turn left at the corner; cross the street; Students read the new phrase “traffic sign”;Students learn the four new phrases from the teacher; Students learn the difference between cross and across; Students practice them in pairs; Students say the similar words about the places; Students imitate the sounds of the words; Students use their imagination to create the story in the street; Students use the pictures to tell the story in groups; Students learn the four sentences with the help of pictures and actions; 用生活中常见的交通标志为引子,为整个单元的学习打下铺垫;学习cross 和across from的 区别,为后面的故事学习扫清障碍;四个地点的单词学习对学生来说相对容易,所以时间花得比较少;这八个单词的学生中还要注意straight 和across 的发音;在故事学习中,充分发挥学生的想象力,对故事进行第一次的联想;给课本的六幅图片,让学生根据图片进行第二次的故事讲述;学生的合作能力、思维品质得到了质的提升;
