一、教学内容分析：
本课是一节读写课。课文由Betty 游览张家界展开，激发学生对祖国大好河山的热爱，同时唤起学生的环保意识，在语言上体会that 引导的宾语从句的用法。
二、教学目标：
1.语言知识目标：
（1）that 引导的宾语从句
（2）能正确使用下列词汇 path, pull, wake up, shape
2.语言技能目标：
（1）能根据图片预测文章内容，能读懂介绍旅游景点和旅游经历的文章。
（2）培养学生预测上下文和获取细节信息的能力。
（3）能够介绍自己的旅行经历。
三、教学重点和难点
1.教学重点：that引导的宾语从句
2.教学难点：对游览景点的介绍以及对自己旅行经历的描述。
四、教学过程
Before reading:
Step 1.复习M8U1重点内容，导入本课新授内容。
Q1：Where did Lingling, Tony and Daming visit?
Q2:What is it famous for?
Q3: What did they see and do there?
设计意图：根据我校学生实际能力，通过三个简单的问题复习U1中的重点内容，学生在回答问题的同时，强化了that 引导的宾语从句。
Step 2:Show a picture of zhangjiajie.

Q3:Where can you stay?
Q4:What animals can you see?
Q5:What is the most famous thing to see?
设计意图：通过图片感知张家界的美，激发学生阅读文本的兴趣。通过对这五个问题的思考，学生初步了解了张家界，降低了阅读难度。
