教学内容
分析
本篇章的体裁是一则小故事，题材是关于电的常识，了解电的产生和传输过程。教师应适时帮助学生树立节约用电，绿色生活的理念。在引导学生在理解全文的基础上，将篇章分为3大部分，同时分析各段落阐述内容找出关键句（词），提高对阅读理解的知识运用能力。
学情分析
本节课是异地教学，据了解本班现有学生人数42人，大多数学生从三年级就开始学习英语，已经对英语并不陌生。但七年级学生由于年龄小，生性好动，并喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。面对以上情况，本节课将组建临时学习小组和创设小组合作竞赛活动引起学生关注，在阅读方面，大部分学生停留在单向阅读，但没渗透了解文章背后隐藏知识点和信息量，因此本节课侧重根据问题进行针对性指导策略。
