1. 辨析: a few, few, a little, little
a few “少数,几个”,修饰可数名词复数,表示肯定。
few “几乎没有的,很少的”,修饰可数名词复数,表否定。
a little “一点,少许”,修饰不可数名词,表肯定

2. 辨析: sweep, clean

完形填空所提供的内容相对完整的文章,上下句之间、各段之间有着逻辑上的必然联系。在所给的四个选项中,有的从语法角度考虑是正确的,从语意上考虑就会自相矛盾,出现不符合逻辑的现象。这时应从文章和句子的意思入手,对语法无误的几个选项通过分析对比,选出最符合上下文内在联系的答案。这种解答完形填空题的方法称为逻辑推理法。
例:
