[解读] 这是由what引导的特殊疑问句,询问颜色,其结构为“What color+be动词+物?”当询问的物品,即句子的主语是单数时,be动词用is,回答一般用“It’s+颜色”;当询问的物品,即句子的主语是复数时,be动词用are,回答一般用“They’re+颜色”来表示。有时也可直接回答颜色。

注意color为美式英语的拼写,英式英语为colour。（3）表示颜色的单词有：

这些单词既可放在be动词后作表语；又可以放在名词前作定语。
