1.Open your book.打开你的书。
(1)此句是一个祈使句,祈使句是游泳的基本句型之一,表达说话人的叮嘱,劝告,请求或命令。祈使句一般没有主语,肯定结构都以动词原形开头,句末用感叹号或句号,朗读时用降调。
例如:Close your book.合上你的书。
拓展提升
祈使句的否定形式由“Don’t +动词原形……”构成, 常用来表示“劝告,建议”。
例如:Don’t sit down.不要坐下。
教你一招
祈使句无主语,主语you常省去,动词原形作谓语,句首添don’t 变否定。
(2)open 作动词,意为“(打)开”,其反义词close意为“合上,关闭”。
例如:Open the door. 打开门。 Close the door.关上门。
2.What class are you in?你在哪个班级?
(1)疑问词what和grade, class, row, team, color等名词一起连用,用于提问年级,班级,排,组,颜色。
例如:--What class is he in?他在几班?
--He is in Class 5.他在五班。
(2)in作介词,意为“在……里面”。例如:
She is in my class.她在我的班里。
3.–Betty, what’s your telephone number? 贝蒂,你的电话号码是多少?
--It’s seven two six, eight one five.是726815。
(1)What’s …number?是用来询问对方的电话号码的常用句型,还可用What number is your telephone/room/ID card/…?回答时可用It’s+号码;My telephone number is …或直接说出号码。值得注意的是英语电话号码的读法是用基数词按顺序读出。0可以读作/??/或zero;相连的两个相同的数字可以用double(双的, 两倍的)加数字来表示。
例如:--What’s Bob’s telephone number?鲍勃的电话号码是多少?
---It’s 217-0198. 是217-0198。.
【拓展 】What’s …number?还可用来对车牌号、房间号、身份证号等进行提问。例如: What’s your QQ number?你的QQ号是多少?
(2)telephone 可以缩写为Tel.,如:Tel:323-5056 电话:323-5056 。电话号码
(3)number作名词,意为“号码”。Number前面可以加room, ID card, car等修饰词。例如:What’s your car number?你的车牌号是什么?
(4)It’s是 It is的缩写, 意为“它是”。 it是代词,意为“它”, 是第三人称单数形式。句中的it指代上句中的telephone number,以免重复。
代词it 的用法如下:

2.用来代替上句中的this , that。
--What’s this?-It’s a dog.--这是什么—它是一条狗。
3.用来表示时间、天气、距离等。

4. How many …are there?有多少……?
How many 意为“多少”,后接可数名词复数形式,常与are there 连用构成特殊疑问句,主要用来提问可数名词的数量。一般用There are…对询问的数量做出回答。
例如:
How many teachers are there in your school?你们学校有多少老师?
