教材分析
本节课是外研社第二册第四模块的课文，讨论的话题是西方艺术，中国传统艺术和波普艺术，涉及到一些与艺术相关的词汇。

学情分析
学生有了一定的英语基础，阅读问题不大，对艺术也感兴趣，但是学生对纯艺术了解不多、不深；对于各个艺术流派的特点和观念更是没有清晰的概念；描述画作的英语词汇缺乏；不知如何欣赏和评价一幅画；对毕加索的生平和艺术发展不甚了解。
教学目标
知识目标：学会与艺术和艺术风格有关的词汇、短语和句式；能读懂课文获取主要信息。
2、能力目标：掌握基本的阅读方法和技巧，提高学生的阅读能力；能口头描述不同艺术风格的作品；
能够简单评价一幅作品。
情感态度和价值观：增进对国内外艺术家及其作品的了解，培养学生的艺术审美意识，陶冶学生的

VII．课后反思
本节课是外研社必修二的课文，介绍的是西方、中国和波普艺术。学生对这方面的了解不多，概念不清楚，我利用UMU云互动平台在课前先对fine arts, art movements 和pop art这些概念进行了阐述，扫清了障碍，让学生对纯艺术事先有了清楚的了解，提高了课堂效率。也使导入环节的头脑风暴气氛活跃，学生各抒己见，各享所知，顺利导入到课文的学习。
本节课既完成了读的任务，掌握了各个流派的特点，也练习了说，学会了描述画作，最后再落实到写作，把所学词汇和表达学以致用。再通过拍照上墙UMU，实现学生的互动和分享，延伸了课堂。
不足之处：
1). 客观限制：由于条件和时间的限制，有些同学无法UMU互动，在课堂上有些被动；
2). 目标达成：对艺术的了解没有拓展开，依然比较肤浅；
3). 容量大，节奏快：为了完成各个环节，有些任务给的时间不够多，还应给学生更多
合作交流的机会，有些同学不能跟上。
