教材分析
本节课是外研社第二册第四模块的课文,讨论的话题是西方艺术,中国传统艺术和波普艺术,涉及到一些与艺术相关的词汇。

学情分析
学生有了一定的英语基础,阅读问题不大,对艺术也感兴趣,但是学生对纯艺术了解不多、不深;对于各个艺术流派的特点和观念更是没有清晰的概念;描述画作的英语词汇缺乏;不知如何欣赏和评价一幅画;对毕加索的生平和艺术发展不甚了解。
教学目标
知识目标:学会与艺术和艺术风格有关的词汇、短语和句式;能读懂课文获取主要信息。
2、能力目标:掌握基本的阅读方法和技巧,提高学生的阅读能力;能口头描述不同艺术风格的作品;
能够简单评价一幅作品。

VII.课后反思
本节课是外研社必修二的课文,介绍的是西方、中国和波普艺术。学生对这方面的了解不多,概念不清楚,我利用UMU云互动平台在课前先对fine arts, art movements 和pop art这些概念进行了阐述,扫清了障碍,让学生对纯艺术事先有了清楚的了解,提高了课堂效率。也使导入环节的头脑风暴气氛活跃,学生各抒己见,各享所知,顺利导入到课文的学习。
本节课既完成了读的任务,掌握了各个流派的特点,也练习了说,学会了描述画作,最后再落实到写作,把所学词汇和表达学以致用。再通过拍照上墙UMU,实现学生的互动和分享,延伸了课堂。
不足之处:
1). 客观限制:由于条件和时间的限制,有些同学无法UMU互动,在课堂上有些被动;
2). 目标达成:对艺术的了解没有拓展开,依然比较肤浅;
3). 容量大,节奏快:为了完成各个环节,有些任务给的时间不够多,还应给学生更多
合作交流的机会,有些同学不能跟上。
