Step 1. Lead-in
Greeting.
T: When you want to hold a school activity, what can you do if you don’t have much money?
S: Raise some money.
T: How will you raise money? In our book, Brian’s school’s basketball team is going to play in another city, how will they raise money?
Step 2. Vocabulary
Learn words of lesson 25.
Step 3. Listening
1. Play the recorder and ask the students to listen and fill in the blacks.
2. Play it again and ask the students to check answers they hear.

反义词为expensive“昂贵的”

2. go over(从头至尾)检查;查看

4. tie sth. To sth. 把某物(用线、绳等)绑到某物上
Tie the dog to the tree, or it will run away after you leave it.
把狗拴到树上,否则你离开后它就跑开了。
5. low价格低
price一般与high或low搭配,表示价格的高或低,而不与expensive或cheap搭配
6. afford 买得起;
常与can, could, be able to连用,后接名词,代词或动词不定式。
I can’t afford (to buy) a new house. 我买不起新房子。
