【教材解读】
外研版教材按教学模块组织教材,初二上共12个模块。本册教材共有 12个模块。每个学习模块的第一、二单元主要为大家呈现新的语音内容, 第三单元为练习与活动,用以巩固第一、二单元所学的内容。
每个模块的话题分别是如何学习英语、家乡、运动、太空之旅、传统生活文化、濒临灭绝的动物、一个著名的故事、事故、人口、天气、中西方生活方式、和各种帮助。这些话题贴近生活实际, 有助于提高学生的学习兴趣和欲望。
通过对本套教材的学习,希望同学们能够:
形成对英语学习的积极态度和强烈兴趣;
掌握基本的英语知识和听、说、读、写技能,提升英语语言的运用能力;
形成有效的英语学习策略;
增强对世界文化的了解,培养自己的跨文化交流意识。
Module 1 How to learn English
一.教材分析:
本模块是八年级上最开始的内容,以“How to learn English”为话题,以学习征求建议、提出建议的方法为主线,教给学生学习英语的方法。这在整册教材中起了承前启后的作用。
二.学情分析:学生在初一阶段已经学习了一般现在时,一般过去时,一般将来时和现在进行时,同时已经掌握了how about/You can等提供建议的方法,这就为本模块的学习作好了铺垫。但是初二是两极分化的开始,所以教学过程中一定要面向全体学生,特别是边缘生。
三.内容结构:
本模块以“How to learn English”为话题,以学习征求建议、提出建议的方法为主线,介绍了很多学习英语的方法。通过本模块的学习,学生除了能掌握英语学习方法之外,还可以根据同学的建议制定更适合自己的学习计划;同时,模块也复习了一般现在时、现在进行时、一般过去时、一般将来时的用法。这一模块主要是介绍学习英语的方法,作为初中二年级第一学期第一课,这样的内容设计对于学生是很有必要的,学生刚过学英语的新鲜期,正处于学习英语的困惑期,这样可以帮助学生重新认识学习英语的重要性,并制定新的英语学习计划.
Unit 1是听说课,通过听读说等活动,初步学习给别人提建议的方法。
Unit 2 是读写课,学会能用一封信的形式向别人征求建议或给别人提出建议的方法。
Unit 3 对“提供学习建议”的功能项目进行综合训练,并在此基础上完成制定学习计划的任务。然后小组交流,提出修改建议。
