教学目标:
词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词sign, talk, fish, pick, smoke, spit, mean.
句型:会运用句型“What does this/that sign mean?”来提问看到的标志所表示的意思,能用“It means......”来回答问题。
通过学习新单词,理解A部分的对话。
情感教育:通过学习本课内容,教育学生不能做一些不好的事情,如:摘花,随地吐痰,抽烟等等。(未成年人不可以抽烟,成年人不可以随处抽烟,吸烟有害健康等)
教学重、难点:
重点:①新单词sign, talk, fish, pick, smoke, spit, mean的认读;
②句型A: What does this/that sign mean?

难点:新句型的掌握与运用。

Greetings
Free talk: T: What day is it today?
Ss:Today is_______. Tomorrow is_________.
Review: Unit9句型“What’s your hobby?”课件给出一些爱好:singing, dancing, drawing, reading, running, swimming..... 请同学说出中文意思。
引导学生用句型回答:My hobby is_____________.或者用句型I like _________.
Step 2 New words.
Today we will learn Unit 10. First, there are some new words for you.
Please look at picture 1(PPT出示图片1:8个标志,提问学生
What are these? Do you know?(学生可用中文回答,说出自己看得懂的标志的意思)
T:是的,这些是标志,在英文中,它们叫做“sign”(出示单词sign)
Please show me your finger, let’s spell it.带学生书空s-i-g-n:sign. 用录音教学。
单词练读:齐读、点读、小组读
②出示图片2,让学生说出图片有可能表达的意思(两个人在交谈、谈论、说话),出示单词talk: 书空→录音带读→单词练读.......
③以同样的方式学习fish, pick, smoke, spit, mean.......
④学完所有单词,带读一遍。
Step 3We know, somethings are good for us, but somethings are not good. For example:
出示图片1 问:那个标志是什么意思?What does that sign mean? 答:不可以说话。 It means “Do not talk.”
出示图片2 问:What does that sign mean?
答:It means “Do not spit.”
出示图片3,4,5,........
将标志学习完,带读句子。男、女生分组读(游戏环节)

熟读单词,并将单词抄写在作业本上;
