Pre-task Preparation
1. Greet as usual
2. Let the students listen to a song and use the phrases to fill in the blanks
While task procedures
1. Show some pictures of beach and sea and teach those words
T: Look at these photos. This is the beach. This is the sea. What can you do at the beach?
S1: We can swim in the sea.
S2: We can make sandcastles.
S3: We can collect shells.
2. Then show the picture of “Look and learn”
3. Let students listen to the tape and answer the question.
T: Who are they?
S: The Browns.
T: How many people are there in their family?
S: There are five.
T: Who are they?
……
Next, according to the teacher’s tips, students make a quick response.
T: The Browns are on holiday in Sanya. ( point to Paul quickly) Paul is ..,
S: (stand up and say as quickly as possible) Paul is…

Make some tips on the blackboard, students retell the passage one by one.

2.Watch the flash and complete the sentences in page49.
