讲授新课
1.Presentation
(1)Show the picture and ask:
What do they do on the weekend? Let’s ask Steven and Dingding together. What kind of sports does Dingding play?
(2)Ask the question: What does Steven do on the weekend? And teach the new words: camp, parent.
(3)Read and match.
2.Practice
(1)Show some pictures: go swimming, go fishing, go to the cinema, go to the go to the park, go to the library, fly kites
3.Production
Prepare a chart: My weekend timetable.

学生看图听录音，并找到问题的答案。
学生根据图片回答老师的问题。

课堂小结
通过中外孩子对周末活动的讨论，引出询问周末活动安排的表达形式: What do you do on the weekend? Do you play football? 及描述周末活动的陈述句：I often play sports. Sometimes I play basketball. 周末是学生喜欢且熟悉的话题，学生在前几册学过部分动词词组，从学生熟悉的词组入手，帮助学生理解特殊疑问句和一般疑问句的语义功能。go swimming, fly kites, go to the cinema,其中的单词都是学生学过的，重新组合之后，给学生一种新的表达形式，满足学生语言表达的需要。这两块的教学内容相关，目标语言突出，便于学生掌握本课的重点内容。
