Show students some pictures and then ask some questions.
Divide students into small groups(4~6 students).Tell them that there are many accidents in the world every day and many people are injured or killed in the accidents.
Ask these groups to discuss the following questions.
(1)What can you see in the pictures?
(2)What might have happened to the drivers?
(3)What should you do if you see an accident?

Divide students into small groups(5 students).Ask them to discuss and decide on an accident to present in their role-play.First,the group will need to decide what happens in the accident.Then they should decide what roles need to be played and assign roles to their members.For example,in a motorbike accident,the five roles might be two victims,a witness,a doctor and a reporter.
The teacher goes from group to group encouraging students to discuss their role-play in English as much as possible.Ask them questions to help them make up their dialogues.The role-play doesn’t need to be long,but all members must participate.
