1.大多数情况下，比较级直接在词后+er，最高级直接在词后+est。
2. 以不发音的e结尾的单音节词，比较级后接r；最高级后接st。
3. 在重读闭音节中，要双写结尾的辅音字母，然后接er或est。
4. 辅音字母加y结尾的单音节词和双音节词（以ly后缀的除外），将y改为i，然后接er或est。
5. 其他双音节词和多音节词变化时，比较级前+more，最高级前+most。
6. 不规则变化。

more后面接多音节形容词或副词，构成比较。

区别：fewer...than 用于可数名词，less...than 用于不可数名词。

词尾若有哑音e，直接加-r就可以。
一辅重读闭音节，辅音字母要双写。
