T: How do you come to school?
Let Ss talk.
Talk about traffic rules.
T: Well, you have different ways come to school. On the way, you should know the traffic rules. You should know what you must do and what you don’t do.
Let’s try.
教师呈现try的场景图,学生同桌之间讨论,看图说说能在图中获取的交通规则信息。教师播放try的录音,让学生尝试着简单说说听到的规则。最后做出选择完成练习。
承接try中“Wu Yifan’s grandpa is ill.”这个语境展开对话教学。
T:Is he go with them? Why? Where is he going?
T: Yes, now he’s on the way to the hospital.
教师播放动画前,让学生带着问题欣赏对话。
Q1:Which hospital is Wu Yifan going to?
Q2:How can he get to the hospital?
(3) 教学take the bus.
(4) 句型操练。
How can I get to the…?
Take the No…. bus.
(5) Listen and underline.
听音,在文中划出提到的交通规则。
In the USA people on bikes must wear one. 通过朗读,让学生明白one指helmet。

学生根据课文录音模仿朗读。
自由地和老师进行交谈。
学生通过看图,进行听前预测,并理解其意,通过听力练习学习one by one。
学生根据文本回答问题。
学生听音频,思考并划出有关的交通规则。
交谈中引出本课的主题traffic rules。
培养学生听前的好习惯。
以问题为引子,通过动画播放和阅读,引导学生理解,感知,体验对话,了解和学习文中的交通规则和中西方不同的交通规则。并通过模仿朗读重点句子,培养学生良好的语音,语调。
巩固与拓展
播放动画,逐句模仿。
引导学生划分对话,理解意思,自由朗读对话。
回忆talk中的交通规则。
读课本张鹏和Amy的对话,引导学生关注本节课所涉及的交通规则的句型“Don’t…”“…must…”.
课件呈现交通标志。引导学生根据教师给出的语言提示“What do these signs mean?”和“Where can you see them?”进行小组讨论,并用核心句型“Don’t…”和“…must…”来看图说话。
Homework
学生认真听音模仿。
学习更多的交通标志的含义并试着描述。
在学生掌握本课对话的基础上,引导学生结合实际生活运用所学的重点句型进行描述。
课堂小结
本课文本较长,粗看容易抓不住重点,但是从单元角度解读抓住话题,能更好地进行教学。此外,更直接以try作为学习talk的铺垫,能更快地进入主题,避免教学环节过多,而学生难以消化的现象。
