Lesson 27
This is the final lesson in this unit. It will be introduced through learning of the words English and Chinese. Start with the most familiar career teacher. Children will be able to grasp the meaning of the verbs by learning.

Learn and use word listed in the context.

Understand and master the verbs. combined with their own life experience and learned English knowledge, use sentence patterns: "Who can speak..." to describe who can speak Chinese.

Step 1. Greetings and warm-up activities
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Do you know how to say the course we are studying?
Step 2. Watch the cartoon and answer the questions
The teacher introduce himself. “I’m a teacher. I can speak English. What about you?” Then, learn the words.
Who can speak English?
My teacher can speak English. I can speak English, too.
Who can speak Chinese?
My teacher can speak Chinese. I can speak Chinese, too.
Step 3. Practice
According to different pictures, understand and speak.
Step 4. Listen and check: what can they do?(P61)
Complete the exercises according to the recording. This part needs to bring to the attention. Listen to the tape twice. Please answer separately.
Step 5. Sing
Learn the songs which the content closely related to the context. It not only strengthens the new learning knowledge, but also stimulates the interest of learning.

Step 6. Homework
Copy the words and text of Unit 4.
Recite the text well and practice the words.
