1.Show the pictures about the bedroom; (messy) What was the bedroom like this morning Where were the books
2.Show another pictures about bedroom(tidy) What is the bedroom like now Where are the books
3. Show the two different pictures of classroom(tidy and messy) to practice in pairs;
4. Present the picture about Gogo( It’s the first time for him to come to China. Here is a letter for his mother)
Ask students to read it two times;
5.What is the letter talking about
6.Learn the letter( form and contents)
1.Students answer the question about the pictures: It was messy this morning. The books were on the floor.
2. Students answer : It is tidy now. The books are on the desk.
3. Students practice the pictures in pairs and show them on the stage;
4. Students read the letter silently by themselves and underline the past tense in red and check in pairs;
5. Students discuss it;
6. Students learn the letter;
学生从人物Gogo的两张卧室图片入手,操练基本句型 What is /was the bedroom like today/yesterday It is/was… are/were …学生结合两张教室的图片来进行巩固;接以人物Gogo去了中国,给妈妈写信反映中国的天气、衣服和建筑物,用昨天(过去式)和今天(现在时)进行对比来描写;

Read the pictures and listen and check the answers;
6. Present the two pictures about Tony and Jenny and make a short talk in pairs;
7. Use the real pictures in class and talk about it ;

对Gogo这封信采用听录音跟读---自由读---读信回答问题—读信填空的方式 来加以巩固与强化;学生在做听力训练时,教会学生做听力的技巧,读懂图意—读懂问题,还着问题有目的听,强化学生对所学时态在听力的正确运用;最后用Jenny和Tony的卧室图片来对本节课的基本句型进行再次回顾;
