根据本课的文体特点采取分段阅读的方式进行教学,面向全体学生,全面提高学生的听说读写能力,关注英语工具性和人文性的统一;尊重学生,充分调动学生学习的主动性和积极性;鼓励学生实施自主、合作、学习,强化语言交际在语言学习中的作用;注重培养学生形成积极向上的生活态度。
学情分析
七年级学生有较高的求知欲和表现欲,希望自己的表现得到同学和老师的认可。特别是对他们熟悉的话题,学生的爱好会更浓。本单元的动物话题正符合学生的这一心理特点,所以我设计各种任务型的课堂活动让学生人人都能参与活动,增强他们的英语学习积极性和学习自信心。
教材分析
内容标准
语言技能:本节课主要注重培养学生的阅读能力,读是为了达到帮助学生通过阅读准确了解文章的目的,设计了fast reading 和careful reading 两个阅读环节,并据此分别设计教学任务。通过 skimming 快速浏览文章寻找主题句和题目,通过scanning了解文章细节,明确阅读目的
语言知识:话题: Animals and protection 语法: What… do you like?/ They can… 词汇和常用表达:the symbol of…, kind of, in great danger, cut down trees
情感态度:了解大象这一动物在泰国的重要性,在泰国的地位。 了解大象的基本生活习性和特性,通过了解大象的处境,以及人们为了攫取象牙对大象的杀戮,呼吁人们保护大象赖以生存的自然环境,保护濒临灭绝的野生动物,号召大家行动起来,保护动物,关爱地球。
