Warming up：Today I am your new English Teacher. Do you want to know me? Play a guessing game.

Step I. Before reading
After the guessing game, ask a question:
Do you like watching TV? At first, let’s watch a video. After that, please tell me about your feelings.
Step II. Pre-reading
By looking at the title and picture to predict :What may be mentioned（涉及）in this passage about Earth Day?
Circle the word bank, tell students: Word bank can help you better understand the passage.

Let’s read the passage quickly, then answer the two questions:
When is the Earth Day?
Who made a list of 10 things that each person could do to help save the environment?
