任务一：看视频，回答问题。
1. What do you think of the twin sisters?
Do you think they are quiet? Smart? Outgoing? Athletic? Funny? Serious?
任务二：看图片，猜单词，造句。
For example: Yao Ming is taller than Liu Xiang. Liu Xiang is shorter than Yao Ming.
根据其他图片造句。
任务三：观察形容词比较级，总结其构成规则。
Look at the words and conclude the main rules of the adjective.（观察单词总结形容词比较级构成）

I. Teaching aims:

2.Ability Objects?:To train the students ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing. To train the students ability of communicative competence.
3.Moral Objects: To have students understand people have quite different traits, but they should overcome the bad habits and keep good healthy habits. To encourage students to be brave, honest, kind people.
II. Important and difficult points: comparatives with –er, -ier and more.
III. Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead in
Show them a video about twin sisters -- Sandy and Mandy. Then ask them: what do you think of the twin sisters? They are beautiful. Can you say something more about them? They have long hair. They are thin/outgoing.... lead in the new words and the topic.
Step 2 Guessing word and group work
Show them more pictures of some people to guess the new words in this class. Then make sentences by using the comparatives with –er or more. For example: Yao Ming is taller than Liu Xiang. Ask some of them to act. At the same time, help them to practice the new words: calm, wild, serious, smart, athletic, calmer, wilder, more serious, smarter, more athletic
Step 3 conclusion
Let them look at the words and sentences, then conclude the main rules of the adjective words.
