2) 复习现在进行时，学习过去进行时的用法。

学情分析
学生在七年级下册已经学习过现在进行时，掌握了如何使用现在进行时来描述日常活动，而且掌握了一些日常活动的短语，有利于他们学习过去进行时，本课时谈论当暴风雨来临时人们正在做什么，学生比较感兴趣，通过听说读，发挥自己想象，并且学会运用本时态，增强学生们英语学习自信心。
