一 、教学目标分析
1)、语言知识
1.词汇: height(tall,short, of medium height) ,hair（short,long, curly, straight,build(thin, heavy), glasses
2.短语: be of medium height, wear glasses
3.句型:
What does he/she look like?
He/She is tall/short/of medium height. He/She has short/long curly/straight hair.
2)、语言技能
1.能熟练的用英语进行对人外表特点的描述，并根据描述画出人像。
2.能概括人物的外貌特征并根据人物特征推理出某一人物。
4.能掌握本单元出现的表示人外观的词组及句型，并能结合实际生活进行灵活运用这些词组及句型描述别人的外表,提高写作水平。
二、情感态度
1.教育学生要多发现别人的优点，学会赞美别人，友好地描述别人的形象。
2.教育学生，人的外貌无法选择，不管美与丑，都是父母给我们的;而且，不论我们丑俊，我们的父母都会深爱着我们。我们应该感谢父母所给予我们的一切。
3.能在小组活动中积极与他人合作，相互帮助，共同完成学习任务, 尽情享受学习的乐趣。

本课重点为学生能够正确询问和描述人物的外貌特征，难点为学生在运用功能句型描述人的外貌时需要分清何时用is，何时用has。

五、教学方法和学习方法分析：
本课主要采取直观演示，情景教学和任务型教学模式。让学生更直观去接触英语，并时时地为学生们创造语境，每个环节给他们设定不同的教学任务，让他们更好地融入和参与到我们的课堂中来。并引入竞争机制，鼓励孩子们更加积极地展示自我，形成有效的竞争模式。当然教无定法，可依据不同的教学内容，采用不同的教学方法。
六、教学过程：
Step 1.课前诵读
由一名同学领颂，其他同学大声朗读。每日坚持练习，增强孩子们的语音语调的把握，以及对英语语感的培养。
Step 2.Lead-in. 图片导入。
T: This is a little boy. Is he lovely?
T: What does he look like? Today let’s learn Unit 9. What does he look like?

让同学们重复练习以上描述人的外貌长相的词汇。

Step 3. 数字游戏
Ask the students to choose one number of the figures. And then describe the person he chooses.
Step 4. Listening Practice
