一 、教学目标分析
1)、语言知识
1.词汇: height(tall,short, of medium height) ,hair(short,long, curly, straight,build(thin, heavy), glasses
2.短语: be of medium height, wear glasses
3.句型:
What does he/she look like?
He/She is tall/short/of medium height. He/She has short/long curly/straight hair.
2)、语言技能
1.能熟练的用英语进行对人外表特点的描述,并根据描述画出人像。
2.能概括人物的外貌特征并根据人物特征推理出某一人物。
4.能掌握本单元出现的表示人外观的词组及句型,并能结合实际生活进行灵活运用这些词组及句型描述别人的外表,提高写作水平。
二、情感态度
1.教育学生要多发现别人的优点,学会赞美别人,友好地描述别人的形象。
2.教育学生,人的外貌无法选择,不管美与丑,都是父母给我们的;而且,不论我们丑俊,我们的父母都会深爱着我们。我们应该感谢父母所给予我们的一切。

本课重点为学生能够正确询问和描述人物的外貌特征,难点为学生在运用功能句型描述人的外貌时需要分清何时用is,何时用has。

五、教学方法和学习方法分析:
本课主要采取直观演示,情景教学和任务型教学模式。让学生更直观去接触英语,并时时地为学生们创造语境,每个环节给他们设定不同的教学任务,让他们更好地融入和参与到我们的课堂中来。并引入竞争机制,鼓励孩子们更加积极地展示自我,形成有效的竞争模式。当然教无定法,可依据不同的教学内容,采用不同的教学方法。
六、教学过程:
Step 1.课前诵读
由一名同学领颂,其他同学大声朗读。每日坚持练习,增强孩子们的语音语调的把握,以及对英语语感的培养。
Step 2.Lead-in. 图片导入。
