1、指示代词的用法:
This,these,that,those 成为指示代词,用来指示或标示人或事物,其中,this和that为单数,these和those 为复数。另外,this和these用来指离自己较近的人或物,that和those 用来指离自己较远的人或物。例如:
This is my bike, and that is her bike.
These are my books, and those are his books.
当指示代词所指的事物已确定时,后面的指示代词指人时用he , she ,they来代替,指物时用it和they 来代替,如:
Is this your book? Yes, it is.
Are these your uncles? No, they aren’t.
打电话时英美人习惯用this指代自己, 用that 指代对方。如:
— This is Kate. Who’s that? 我是凯特,你是谁? — This is Jim. 我是吉姆。

“What+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数(+主语+谓语) !”是由what构成的感叹句,意思是“多么……”。如果主语是代词,谓语是联系动词,主语和谓语在句中可以省略。例如:

4、in front of 是介词短语,“在……前面”,指在某个空间范围之外的前面,

5、名词所有格的构成:

2) 以s结尾的复数名词直接在词尾加“’”,例如:students’ book / my parents’ room
3) 表示两个或两个以上共同所有的,只在最后一个名词后加“’s”,例如:
Lucy and Lily’s father is Mr. Smith. / Ms Smart is Tony and Lingling’s teacher
4) 若表示两个人各自所有的,则在两个名词后分别加“’s”,例如:
Daming’s and Betty’s parents are in China.

一般疑问句用于询问将be 动词的适当形式提在句首, 注意回答用相应的人称代词指代。如:

—Yes, he is. / No, he isn’t. —Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.
在电话中,this表示打电话者,用于介绍自己,用that询问对方。
e.g. Hello! This is Bob. Who's that?
2、英语中的名词所有格表示一种所属关系, ’s所有格多用于有生命的名词。
构成:①在单数名词的末尾加’s构成名词的所有格,表示 “……的”。

②在以-s 或-es结尾的复数名词后只需加’。the girls’ bags 女孩们的书包
③在不以-s 或-es 结尾的复数名词后,加’s构成所有格。Women’s Day 妇女节
④如表示无生命物体的所有关系, 一般用of。the door of the classroom 教室的门
⑤表示时间、距离的名词所有格与有生命的名词所有格构成方法相同。
