Step1. Warming-up
教师带领学生复习上节课的学习内容：

Step2. Presentation
呈现新课，教授本课单词，PPT展示图片单词，引导学生说出“胖瘦”“高矮”的概念。
1. 教师出示Bai Ling的图片，问：Who is she? 学生回答：Bai Ling。
教师说：She’s tall. （一边说一边做动作帮助学生理解。）
教师出示的Alice的图片，问：Who is he? 学生回答：Mike。
教师说：She’s short. （一边说一边做动作帮助学生理解。）
教师同时拿着两个图片，说：Bai Ling and Alice are friends. They are friends.
2. 让学生看着图片在教师的提示下学说：She’s tall. She’s short. They are friends.
3. 让学生指着班里的同学说：She’s tall. She’s short. They are friends.
教师出示单词卡教读short, tall 和friends。（把单词卡贴在黑板上。）
4. 教师出示Mike的图片，问Who is she? 学生答：Sarah。
教师把面具贴到黑板上相应的单词short前，鼓励学生说：He’s fat.
出示John的图片并问：Who is he? 学生答：John。
教师把面具贴到黑板上相应的单词short前，鼓励学生说：He is thin. （出示单词卡教读fat。）
