说课
在本节课以歌曲导入新知,让学生通过歌曲Happy New Year感受节日氛围。边唱边做的形式不仅能带动学生的热情,也为后面的学习进行了铺垫。
接下来采用礼物袋激发学生学习新词的兴趣,以游戏形式巩固单词,并渗透句型What’s this/that?、It’s …。在教学过程中,教师可以不局限于书上的词汇,根据学生说的礼物内容即时教新词。
在课文学习部分,让学生先通过听录音,知道有哪些礼物,然后再次播放课文动画,让学生了解这些礼物分别是给谁的,这是一个从整体到细节的过程。接着让学生精读课文,引导学生发现赠送和接受礼物需要用什么语言,并尝试运用语言。在此过程中适当进行文化渗透,让学生了解体会中西方在礼物收受上的文化差异。
课文朗读的过程分两步:首先逐句跟读,模仿语音语调。注意督促学生及时标注重音和声调,帮助学生形成良好的朗读模仿习惯。然后通过表演来复习和巩固课文学习。课文学习后,引导学生换位思考“新年即将来临,你会对爸爸妈妈做什么,说什么?”。鼓励学生在新的情境中运用所学语言。

说课
本课的重点是复习巩固课文、词汇以及Fun time。因此以举办元旦晚会为主线,带着学生先运用Happy New Year!相互问候,然后跟唱新年歌曲激发他们的兴趣。
接来下以Party为场景开展了两个活动:先是看图片猜单词,然后由词过渡到句子,让学生运用词汇和句型创编儿歌,激发学生运用语言的兴趣。正式进入Fun time之前,教师先通过Magic eyes的游戏帮助学生熟悉本单元单词,复习之前学过的单词,为Fun time的开展打开思路。接下来播放动画让学生了解活动的规则。然后安排学生两人一组以句型What’s this/that? It’s a/an …为主开展活动。
课文复习环节分层推进。基础部分让学生回忆课文内容进行表演;提高部分创设Tim回来后看到礼物的情景,激发学生的想象力和表达的欲望。
