1. —How much is this T-shirt? 这件T恤多少钱？
—It’s seven dollars. 7美元。
2.—How much are these socks? 这双短袜多少钱？

【语法全解】
1. 基数词的定义
表示数量或数目多少的数词叫做基数词。它可以在句中作主语、宾语、表语和定语。
The two happily opened the box.那两个人高兴地打开了盒子。（作主语）
I need three altogether.我总共需要三个。（作宾语）
Four students are playing volleyball outside.四个学生在外面打排球。（作定语）
We are sixteen.我们是16个人。（作表语）
2．基数词的构成
（1）1—12是独立的单词，要逐个记
（2）13—19以后缀-teen结尾。其中有三个数发生拼写变化，分别是13,15,18.
（3）几十以后缀-ty结尾。其中有五个数发生拼写变化，分别是20,30,40,50,80.
（4）几十几的情况，先说“几十”，再说“几”，中间加连字符。
（5）几百几十几的情况，先说“几百”，注意“百”不能加-s,百位数与十位数中间用and链接。
（6）1,000以上，先从右往左数，每三位数加“，”，第一个“，”前为thousand,第二个“，”，前为million，第三个“，”，前为billion(美式)或thousand million(英式)，然后一节一节地表示。
3.基数词的主要用法
（1）用于名词前表示数量的多少。
I have three pens.我有3支钢笔。
（2）表示时刻、年份等时间。
It’s eleven o’clock now.现在是11点。
（3）表示年龄。
My mother is thirty-eight years old.我母亲38岁。
（4）表示价格
The bike is two hundred and thirty-five yuan.这辆自行车235元。
【拓展】英语中没有表示“万”或“千万”等的专有名词，要表示“万”或“千万”等数字常借助thousand或million。读数字时，and常用于百位数与紧跟的数之间。

二、序数词的定义
表示事物顺序的数词叫做序数词。它的作用相当于名词或形容词，可作主语、宾语、定语和表语。

基数词变序数词的口诀：
基变序，有规律，词尾加上th
一、二、三特殊记，结尾字母t,d,d（first second third）
八去t九去e（eighth ninth），ve要用f替（fifth twelfth）
ty将y改成i,th前面有个e,若要碰到几十几，前用基来后用序。
三、序数词的缩写形式
有时候序数词可以用缩写，主要缩写形式有
first-1st
fourth-4th
seventh-7th
tenth-10th
second-2nd
fifth-5th
eighth-8th
twenty-first-21st
third-3rd
sixth-6th
ninth-9th
seventieth-70th
总结：其中1st,2nd,3rd为特殊形式，其他的都是阿拉伯数字后加上th。

基数词：表示数量的词叫基数词。
1．基数词的表达法
a．1～12 独立词　one，two，three，four，five，six，seven，eight，nine，ten，eleven，twelve
b．13～19 个位数＋teen (13,15,18 有变化)
three→ thirteen，five→ fifteen，eight→eighteen
c．整十数 个位数＋ty (20,30,40,50,80 稍有变化)
two→ twenty，three→ thirty，four →forty，
five → fifty，eight → eighty
d．几十几 整十数加“-”，再加个位数　 thirty-five
e．几百几 …hundred＋and＋...　 two hundred and eighty-five
基数词巧记：
基数词，不难记，找出规律很容易：
零至十二形各异，一个一个单独记。
后加-teen为“十几”，thirteen，fifteen看仔细，eighteen只有一个t。
表示“几十”要加-ty，twenty，thirty是特例；
forty，fifty更厉害，和eighty一起搞例外。
表示数字“几十几”，连字符号要切记。
要表“几百几”，and 常把百、十系；
还有一点需注意，“几百”后别把-s立。
2．基数词的用法
(1)与可数名词连用，表示其数量。表示两个或两个以上的事物，名词用复数形式。
He has four dogs.他有四只小狗。
(2)表示年份
1758年 读作：seventeen fifty-eight
(3)表示年龄
The girl is fourteen.这女孩14岁。
(4)与可数名词连用，表示重量、距离、价格等。
The school is three kilometers from my home.
学校离我家三千米远。
These oranges are 3 dollars.这些橙子共3美元。

根据问句可知是询问价格，dollar是可数名词，其复数形式是dollars，排除D项；问句中的主语是复数，答语中的代词需用they，排除A、B两项。故选C项。
