Good morning, I’m No.8. Now I’ll say Primary English New Standard Book 3 Module 2 Unit 1I don’t like meat, the first lesson . I’ll prepare to say the lesson from three parts.
Part One Analysis of the Teaching Material
(一) Status and Function
This is an important lesson in this book . Such a topic is related to daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their society sense.
It can help students to attain “four skills” request of listening, speaking, reading and using.
Therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material.
(二)Teaching aims and Demands
1. Knowledge objects
1)To read, understand the key words of this unit: meat, noodles, rice, sweets, children
2) To use “I don’t like…” to express themselves freely.
2. Ability objects
To develop the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and using.
To train the students how to use their own words to express their ideas.
3. Attitude objects
To train them develop a good habit on diet. Don’t waste food.

Part Two Analysis of the students
The students have learnt English for one year, Most of them are interested in English. They are willing to express themselves in English in class. Last lesson we’ve already learnt I like… So it’s easy for them to learn “I don’t like….” And this topic can greatly attract their interests. It can accelerate them to learn English and use English well. After learning this lesson, they will know how to express themselves.
Part Three Teaching and learning Methods
1. Communicative teaching method
2. Audio-visual teaching method
3. Game teaching method
As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in the Primary School is to cultivate students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson I’ll mainly use “Communicative” teaching method, “Audio-visual” teaching method and game teaching method. For the students, I will lead them to work in groups, and ask them to help each other, and try their best to learn the text well.
To use these methods are helpful to develop the students’ abilities.
Part Four Studying Procedures
Step 1 Warm up
Arouse the students’ interests by reading the chant together. Review the key points of last lesson “I like….”
Step 2 Lead in
Review “I like….”and write it down. Then I will show many pictures with the multi-media. Then ask them to say I like dogs, I like red….Then with this picture I will lead them to say “I don’t like….”and write it down. Then I will teach the new words in many different ways. Ask them to practice a lot. Then play the first part of unit 1.And ask the students to follow each sentence.
Step 3 Presentation
Well, do you like rice? Let’s see what about Tom?Listen and watch the cartoon for the first time, then circle“don’t like” and new words. And ask them to read the words.
Listen and watch the cartoon for the second time. Then answer the question“What does Tom like?”Practice “I like….” “I don’t like….” And educate them not waste food.
Listen and watch the cartoon for the third time. Then follow each sentence.
Then ask them to read by themselves.
Next ask them to read together.
Finally ask them to act the story out and have competition.
Step 4 Practice
1、 Pick the fruit
2、 Pull and say
3、 Have a guess.
Step 5 Conclusion and homework
Conclude the result of the competition. Give a congratulatons to the winners.
Conclude unit 1
Homework for today:
Read unit 1 5 times and discuss their hobby with “I like… I don’t like….”
