Unit 5 Visiting the moon Grammar 教案
I. Teaching objects:
1. Knowledge objects:
① Learn Grammar A (will + v.) , show the grammar structure and the use of it.
② Learn Grammar B (be going to +v.) , show the grammar structure and the use of it.
2. Ability object:
Can use the grammar structures to express what may happen in the future.
3. Moral object:
Learn to use different sentences structures to describe their dreams now and future.
II. Teaching key points:
1. The use of structure will + v. .
2. The use of structure be going to + v. .
III. Teaching difficult points:
1. The use and structure of will + v. .
2. The use and structure of be going to + v. .
IV. Teaching procedures:
Step 1.
Ask students to find the sentences with will in the article and pay attention to the short form I’ll = I will .
Step 2.
Let students look at the sentences, think about the meaning of them and conclude the meaning of the Simple Future Tense and the expression.
Step 3.
Ask the students to change the sentences into questions and answer the questions with Yes, I/you/we/she/he/it/they will or No, I/you/we/she/he/it/they won’t.
Step 4.
Students read the model sentences in the chart in Grammar A and complete “ work out the rule ”.
Step 5.
Ask students to do the oral practice in Grammar A.
Step 6. Grammar B (be going to + v.)
① Ask students to find the sentences with “ be going to + v.” in the article.
②. Students look at these sentences and try to translate them into Chinese. Then conclude the structure of “ be going to + v. ” according to the use of the structure.
③. Ask students to change these sentences into questions and answer them with “Yes, I/you/ she/he/it/ we/they + am / is /are. ” or “ No, I/you/ she/he/it/ we/they + am / is /are +not. ”.
④. Students read the model sentences in the chart in Grammar B and complete “work out the rule”.
⑤. Ask students to complete the conversation in Grammar B. Then check the answer.
V. Summary
Today, we learned the Simple Future Tense, especially the structure “ will + v. ” and “ be going to + v.” to show the things may happen in the future , and the things people plan to do.
VI. Homework
1. Read the two conversations in Grammar A and B after class. Review how to use “will + v.” and “be going to +v.” .
2. Try to complete the article with the Simple Future Tense.
