Students in Class5, Grade 8 have enthusiasm for studying English and they are active in discussion and cooperation in class. Students have already learnt the present perfect tense, but they may still not be able to have a conversation or write an article with present perfect tense skillfully. Considering this situation, all the exercises will be designed to improve students’ abilities of using present perfect tense.

Step 1 Leading-in and talking
1. Check answer about the report with the present perfect tense on handout paper Revision part.
2. Ask question “What can we learn from an educational visit in foreign countries?”
1.Go through the report and fill in the blank with the present perfect tense.
2. Express their opinions in groups then in front of the class.
Review the present perfect tense and encourage the students try their best to discuss and show their opinions.
