Step1、 Greet the class as usual.
Review some key words and phrases we have learned last class.
Step2、Lead in the new lesson. Ask several students to translate these sentences into English. If they can’t finish them, ask them to find the answers on P67、p51 and P35 on their textbook. Then pay attention to the red words and the usages of “although” and “though”.
Step3、According to the meaning of these two words and then finish two practices. Give out the learning sheet and ask them to finish the exercises on it and on the textbook.
Step4、Ask them to summarize the rules in groups according to the instructions. Observe all the sentences and summarize the structures of adverbial clauses of concession with although and though ,then summarize the usage in groups.
Step5、Encourage them to use the rules to solve the problems. Finish the exercises on page 72-73 and on the learning sheet in group.
Step6、Ask them to finish some exercises on PPT, to use although and though. Then ask several students to try to translate these sentences.
Step7、Summary
This period we have learned the meaning and the usages of although and though.we should make sentences with them.After class,they should review them from time to time.

由although引导的让步状语从句表示

一般情况下，可以和though引导的让步状语从句互换使用，但在口语中though更为常用。
让步状语从句可以置于主句之前，也可以置于主句之后。注意：汉语中“虽然/尽管”与“但是”往往同
时使用，但在英语中although/
though和but是不能同时使用的。我不经常做饭，但是我会做。
