1、能听说读写本单元的核心词汇。
2、能用there be句型的一般疑问句询问家所在街区及附近公共场所的信息,并用Yes.或No.回答。用Is there …? Are there any…?询问别人某个街区以及附近的公共场所。
3 、听懂并谈论家所在街区及周边公共场所的对话和短文。
4、读懂谈论家所在街区情况的对话并读懂介绍王府井大街的短文。
5、正确书写本单元的核心词汇及句型Is there a park near your home?
6、能正确读出元音字母u在闭音节中的发音。

Where is your home, Jill? It’s on Brown Street.
Is there a park you're your home? Yes. There’s a park behind my home. Where is your home, Miss Fang? It’s on a busy street. There are some shops, a supermarket and a park on that street. Are there any restaurants near your home? Yes, there are. Is your home on Green Street? Yes, it is.
I live bear Wangfujing Street. It is a busy street in Beijing. There are a lot of shops on this street. Some shops are very old. Some shops are new. Many people like to go there.
There are many good restaurants on Wangfujing Street. People can eat nice food there. I like Beijing Roast Duck. What about you?
Regent Street is a busy shopping street in London. Lots of people go there to shop. There are big department stores and lots of small clothes stores…

While-task procedure
1.T take a map ,introduce the places include “restaurant” ”park” ”supermarket”
2. Use the map in student book P50, give the name of “supermarket, toy shop, park, restaurant, school” etc.
3.出示Look and learn 的单词卡片,教学本课的三个新词并板书。
4.“Litsen and say”
Play the flash
Ask and answer.
Read together.
1.T:My home is on…. There is a …near my home. There are …near my home.
2.T: (Point to Park Street) This is Park Street. There’s a park on Park Street.
Ss: There’s a park on Park Street.
3.To learn the new words “restaurant” ”park” ”supermarket
Answer question:
T:Where is Jill’s home ?
S1:It’s on Brown Street.
T:Where is Miss Fang’s home?
S2:It’s on Green Street.
Lead to the new knowledge with the help of the map.
Learn letters first ,be ready to learn the following text.
Help ss to understand the text .Ss to read the text more, they will love English more.
Post-task activity
1.Ss imitate “Listen and say” to act.
2.Ss look “Draw and say” and draw a map of themselves

2.Ss write down the places like “supermarket, toy shop, park, restaurant, school” etc.
Ss to act the dialogue ,by this way, they will use what we learn later. And they will be more confident.
To draw the map is interesting for the student, and review the new words.
