一、单元教学目标 (建议多使用英语课程标准中各级目标的描述语言)
语用任务
能得体地运用形容词和副词来谈论天气,能准确地使用现在进行时描述不同天气情况下人、物的活动与表现,能用自己的话描述图片、讲述故事。
知识与技能
1.初步了解自然界中风的形成、风的特点及种类;
2.了解sc, sk在单词中的发音,并能进行语音知识的迁移;
3.了解gently, softly, strongly, happily, slowly, quickly等副词的构成及用法,能与相应的形容词进行区分;
4.熟练运用现在进行时描述正在发生的事情,知道常用动词变现在分词的变化规则;
5.能自主阅读英语美文、体会到阅读英语美文带来的乐趣并积极进行仿写;
6.借助图片阅读、续写英语小故事并用自己的话进行复述;

Puppy: It's like music. I love it!

Little Pig wants to hear the sound of the wind too. Little pig is cutting some paper. he wants to make a paper wind-bell. The wind is blowing gently. Little Pig hears the sound of the wind. He does not like it.
Piggy: It's too quiet. Why? The sound of the wind is too quiet. I don't like it.
Duckling: Let's make a new wind-bell.
Puppy: I have an idea.
Piggy: Listen! That's the sound of the wind.

科代表组织同学们阅读《小学生辅导报》第一版面的故事
引导学生学会认读由形容词加ly构成的副词,先出示形容词,然后在词尾加上ly,让学生大胆认读。
《小学生辅导报》是本学期我校五年级统一订阅的课外阅读材料,我们每周有一节课的课前诵读为报纸阅读,让学生养成自主阅读、乐于表达的好习惯;
初步感知本单元的重点词汇,引导学生发现英语构词的规律,体会学习英语的乐趣。
Pre-task preparation

While-task procedure
1.Listen to the skeleton of a story and ask some questions: Duckling, Puppy and Piggy are good friends, they live in the forest happily and they hear many kinds of sounds every day. One day, Duckling makes a wind-bell with some glasses, Puppy makes a wind-bell with some bronze bells and Piggy makes a wind-bell with some paper. They want to hear the sound of the wind . Any questions?
