一、单元教学目标 (建议多使用英语课程标准中各级目标的描述语言)
语用任务
通过对Air的认识、了解,运用keep、make构成的重点句型,探索与我们生活息息相关的air被污染的原因,讨论出如何能更好地保护它,提高学生的环保意识。
知识与技能
1. 能使用本单元的核心词汇air,everywhere,alive,factory,smoke,dirty,clean,fresh,plant对空气的特征、重要性进行描述,并对如何保持空气清洁给出建议,要求音、义、形基本准确。
2. 通过Say and act体会核心句型 It keep them high in the sky. It makes the air dirty. 通过Ask and answer体会句型的含义和用法,在写作练习中启发学生运用重点句型对空气的重要性和空气污染的原因进行描述。
3. 辨别并能听懂字母g/j/s/ch/sh在单词中的发音,感知它的发音规律,并尝试运用规律进行拼读单词。
文化与情感
通过对Air的学习,使学生在交流中了解空气对我们生活的重要性、污染的原因及对它的保护措施,提高学生对空气的探索,激发对环境的热爱,增强对生活环境的保护意识。

Make the toy in a group. Then show to the class.
Let students list the pollution in daily life. And to get a conclusion, what can we do to improve the air condition or how to protect our environment.

T: So how is air in the park?
S1: It’s clean.
T: Why?
S2: Because there are a lot of trees in the park.
T: So what should we do to keep the air clean?
S3: We should plant more trees.
4. Let the students read in roles.
5. Ss compelet the notes and check in groups.

We all know that clean air is important to good health. Wherever you go and whatever you do, you are always surrounded by a sea of gases that we call air. If there are impurities in the air, they may be absorbed by our bodies and make us ill. We need clean air, but unfortunately, air pollution is globally present, especially in cities.
Our country is trying hard to prevent and control air pollution. As long as every citizen also realizes its importance and makes join efforts, the day will come soon when people will take in only clean air. Then, the sunlight will no longer be blackened out by smoke and soot.
