单课时目标
在on the farm的情境中,初步感知核心词汇chick, duck, cow, pig及其含义,初步感知核心句型What’s this? What’s that? 表示事物的远近区别。
能正确朗读、认读核心词汇 chick, duck, cow, pig并能运用核心句型What’s t/hat?进行提问和回答。要求语音正确,表达流利。能用声音和简单的形容词描述动物的特点。
能在句型结构的帮助下,用3-4句话介绍自己喜爱的农场动物。

While-task procedure
1. Enjoy and read the dialogue of Alice, Danny and Kitty go to the farm.
2. Have the students say the rhyme on Student’s book page 47. They can use their body language.
3.Help the Ss choose one animal they like and express like this :
S1: Hello! I’ m a pig. Oink…Oink..
S2: Hello! I’m a Peep, Quack…Quack…
S3: How nice!

2. Students can wear their mask and sing.

Ask the students to draw a farm animal on the paper. Then ask the students to play a guessing game in pairs.

Pre-task preparation
1. Sing a song : Animals in the bus
2. Talk about the animals on the farm.
Eg: It’s a chick. It’s yellow.
It’s a pig. It’s cute.

2. Using the pictures they bring
Help Ss to describe the animals by simple sentences. Encourage them to say more about the animals if they can.
While-task procedure
1.Teach takes out a picture and say:
What’s this?
It’s a duck.
It’s cute.
I like the ducks.
2. Encourage Ss to do as the teacher by repeat the sentences or change the words under lined.
3. Help the Ss to know more adj. etc , big,. small, nice , beautiful, lovely and so on if some of them can speak out.
4. Play CAT: Look the picture and say out the animals in four sentences.
1. Use a toy yellow duck to help the Ss understand the sentences.
2. Ss have their own pictures and talk about the animals they draw or paint.
3. CAI show the different adj. to help Ss understand the meaning of the words.
4. Play CAT
The toy duck can draw in the intensive of the class and arouse the guy’s desire of speaking English.
Colorful and nice pictures attract Ss’ attentions and give them a little rest
Post-task activity
Introduce a kind of animal on the farm :

Ss look at the pictures and say the sentences.
Can describe an animal in three or four sentences
Assignment
1. Read the whole dialogue and sing the song.
