1、掌握“询问及描述人的外貌”的重点句式和选择疑问句是构成和答语。
2、掌握并正确运用描述人的相貌的形容词和句式。
【教学难点】
1、掌握正确运用have动词和be动词的描述人外貌的方法。
2、帮助学生理解和掌握选择疑问句的构成和答语。
教学建议
学生学习有关人际交往的知识，已经具备了相当的情感基础，且学生已经有了一定的英语知识，有能力学习本课内容。引入教学充分利用教学图片和多媒体，创设情境让学生由参与学习的欲望，引导他们主动学习。

本节教学在Groupwork(Show time)环节设计了一个小组探究活动。
目的：让学生对本节课所学的知识有一个综合的运用，达到能力提升的目的，让学生体验用英语做事情。

通过展示自己班学生和任课老师的照片，学习描述人的身高、身材和头发。以身边人为例，鲜明形象又能吸引学生的注意力。每一项后都有相应的展示练习，加深记忆。

学生对上一环节做出总结，描述人的外貌可以描述身高身材和头发。通过同桌互问“你的朋友长什么样”将所学内容进行综合。

Divide students into four groups and each group choose a number and describe the star. One sentence one point.

此处设计一个比赛游戏，充分调动学生的积极性，活跃课堂气氛，培养学生的团队意识，在比赛游戏中又练习巩固了新知识。

Draw a picture of yourself.

通过想象描绘20年后的自己再一次激发学生的兴趣。引出新句型（询问人外貌的选择疑问句）老师做示范，然后同桌利用自画像练习新句型。增加趣味，加深印象。

【课堂评价】
本节教学较为成功的做法：
一、课堂导入环节利用自己的照片，快速吸引学生注意，描述老师的外貌充分调动了学生学习的积极性，为营造良好的课堂气氛垫定基础。
二、新课讲授环节，利用身边同学和老师的照片，采用了师生问答的方式，教师提问找多个学生回答，给学生做出了示范。每个方面都跟有Pair work的练习，随讲随练，然后综合所学内容进行练习展示。设计上由易到难，也最大程度的保证每个同学都有展示的机会。
三、教学中加入游戏比赛，即调动了同学们的积极性，也培养了同学们的团队合作意识，寓教于乐。
四、教学环节中对于学生的表现及时给予鼓励性评价，提高了学生的参与热情。同时，最后的小组活动，学生展示环节，引入了生生评价，让学生们充分表达自己的建议。
五、课件制作方面，在制作课件时，基本采用空白底版，重点突出教学内容，虽然略显单调，但清晰明确。排版设计时，也力求简单明了，效果不错。在课件制作时，我也学到了一些平时不常用的课件制作知识。
