教学重难点分析
【教学重点】
1、掌握“询问及描述人的外貌”的重点句式和选择疑问句是构成和答语。
2、掌握并正确运用描述人的相貌的形容词和句式。
【教学难点】
1、掌握正确运用have动词和be动词的描述人外貌的方法。
2、帮助学生理解和掌握选择疑问句的构成和答语。
教学建议
学生学习有关人际交往的知识,已经具备了相当的情感基础,且学生已经有了一定的英语知识,有能力学习本课内容。引入教学充分利用教学图片和多媒体,创设情境让学生由参与学习的欲望,引导他们主动学习。
探究活动设计
本节教学在Groupwork(Show time)环节设计了一个小组探究活动。
目的:让学生对本节课所学的知识有一个综合的运用,达到能力提升的目的,让学生体验用英语做事情。

展示自己的一张生活照片,引起学生的兴趣,学生可以用之前所学词汇甚至是新单词描述我。拉近师生关系,为后面的学习做铺垫。

通过展示自己班学生和任课老师的照片,学习描述人的身高、身材和头发。以身边人为例,鲜明形象又能吸引学生的注意力。每一项后都有相应的展示练习,加深记忆。

学生对上一环节做出总结,描述人的外貌可以描述身高身材和头发。通过同桌互问“你的朋友长什么样”将所学内容进行综合。
Game & Competition
Divide students into four groups and each group choose a number and describe the star. One sentence one point.

Students describe the person from height、build 、hair or other aspects. Use the sentence “He/She is/has…”
此处设计一个比赛游戏,充分调动学生的积极性,活跃课堂气氛,培养学生的团队意识,在比赛游戏中又练习巩固了新知识。
Imagine “What do you look like in 20 years?”
Draw a picture of yourself.
The teacher asks several students “Are you tall or short?” “Are you thin or heavy?” “Do you have long or short hair?” Then students ask and answer according to their pictures.

通过想象描绘20年后的自己再一次激发学生的兴趣。引出新句型(询问人外貌的选择疑问句)老师做示范,然后同桌利用自画像练习新句型。增加趣味,加深印象。

【课堂评价】
本节教学较为成功的做法:
一、课堂导入环节利用自己的照片,快速吸引学生注意,描述老师的外貌充分调动了学生学习的积极性,为营造良好的课堂气氛垫定基础。
二、新课讲授环节,利用身边同学和老师的照片,采用了师生问答的方式,教师提问找多个学生回答,给学生做出了示范。每个方面都跟有Pair work的练习,随讲随练,然后综合所学内容进行练习展示。设计上由易到难,也最大程度的保证每个同学都有展示的机会。
三、教学中加入游戏比赛,即调动了同学们的积极性,也培养了同学们的团队合作意识,寓教于乐。
四、教学环节中对于学生的表现及时给予鼓励性评价,提高了学生的参与热情。同时,最后的小组活动,学生展示环节,引入了生生评价,让学生们充分表达自己的建议。
五、课件制作方面,在制作课件时,基本采用空白底版,重点突出教学内容,虽然略显单调,但清晰明确。排版设计时,也力求简单明了,效果不错。在课件制作时,我也学到了一些平时不常用的课件制作知识。
