Nowadays, more and more students choose to study abroad, for better education or to experience a different culture. Which country would you choose?
Australia is the most expensive place for an international student to go to university. But the country is not seen as the best place for a top
quality education, according to Yahoo News.
The global investment bank HSBC did a survey of 5,000 parents from 15 countries. They found that an international student in Australia would spend more than $42,000 every year on tuition fees and cost of living. Students paid about $39,000 on average each year in Singapore and about $36,000 in the US.
However, only one-fourth of the parents list Australia in the top three nations for education, below the US, UK and Germany.
