教学过程设计
Step 1 Lead-in
Enjoy a short video about Chen Qi. and answer :What is Chen Qi doing ? 引出做家务的主题
学习词汇:do housework=do chores
Step 2 Presentation
1. Show pictures to the students and learn phrases:
do the dishes, take out the rubbish, fold your clothes, sweep the floor, make your bed and clean the living room.
2. Play a game: Brainstorming
3. Pairwork: Talk about the chores: I often.... My mother often....
Step 3 Conversation pattern. & Listening. 1b
1..创设情境引出句型:T: The room is in a mess. Could you please sweep the floor? -----yes, sure,/Certainly /Of course/ No problem

2. Pairwork : Look at the pictures .Make a conversation
3. Listen.1b 导入: In your family ,who does chores? Do you often help your mother do chores ? How about Peter? Who will do these chores in his family ?Check Peter’s mother or Peter. (让学生用完整的句子来回答问题,并给学生作出示范)
Step4. Conversation pattern. & Listening. (2a and 2b)
Listening
1.导入: After doing chores, Peter is tired, and he wants to do some things to relax .What does he want to do ?
2. Read phrase : go out for dinner, go to the movies ,stay out late ,get a ride(扫清听力障碍,降低听力难度)
3. Students listen and finish 2a and check the answers. Encourage students to say the whole sentence.
4. Let students listen again and finish 2b.
Ask: why can’t peter stay out late? Why can’t he get a ride? Find the reasons. Check the answers.
5. Pairwork
Let students make a conversation between Peter and his father. Then ask several pairs to act it out.
T: Now ,I’m peter. You are father. Could I go out for dinner/ go to the movies/ use your computer ? (先师生对话示范然后小组对话,最后展示)
Step5 2d Role-play the conversation
1.Watch a video and answer导入情景T: One day peter and his parents went shopping. His sister and brother Tony are at home. Watch a video and answer two questions.
1.What does Tony want to do?
2. What does his sister want Tony to do?
3.listen and repeat each sentence.
4. Pair work :Practice the dialogue with your partner.
5. Role-play the dialogue.
Step6 Groupwork
创设情境:We know Peter went shopping with his mother .And he will have a birthday party tonight. He needs some help. Can you help him? Work in groups .Make up a dialogue.
