含be动词的特殊疑问句
特殊疑问句是对句中某一特殊部分提问的疑问句，一般以疑问词开始，句末须用问号。
含be的特殊疑问句的句式结构之一为“疑问词+一般疑问句（am / is / are + 主语）?”，其中am / is / are的选择取决于其后的主语。
回答特殊疑问句时可以使用完整答语，且名词(短语)常用代词代替；也可只回答提问部分。
本单元我们要学习的疑问词为where，由where引导的特殊疑问句用来询问位置。
where 用来询问人或物在什么地方。其结构为：Where ＋ is / are ＋ 主语(人或物)？回答时不能用Yes或No，而应根据实际情况回答出人或物所在的位置。
1. —Where is / Where’s your sister?
—She is in the classroom / In the classroom.
2. —Where are my books？
—They’re in the bookcase / In the bookcase.

【温馨提示】
where is可以缩写为where’s，但where are不能缩写。
例如：

—They are in the pencil box. 它们在铅笔盒里。
之前学过的疑问词有what（什么）和who（谁），由它们引导的特殊疑问句举例如下：
