一、教学内容:
词汇:the British Museum, the London Eye, wheel, wonderful, understand, postcard 及动词过去式;
句型:What did you do at the weekend? Where did you go ?
学生情况说明:
所教学的对象是小学五年级的学生,根据儿童的心理和生理的特征,他们正处于活泼好动的最佳学习英语时期。因此,在教学中,以学生为主体,为了给孩子创设一个真实的语言情景,贴近学生的日常生活和实际,在教学中设计了孩子合作的活动、歌曲等,从而培养他们运用英语进行交际的能力,让学生体会到学习英语的乐趣。另外,充分利用多媒体帮助学生更好地学习,使学生在表达时语言更丰富。
二、教学目标:
1(1)语言知识目标
能听、说、认读本课的重点单词:the British Museum, the London Eye, wheel, wonderful, understand, postcard;能正确使用动词过去式;能利用What did you do? Where did you go?询问别人过去做的事情。
(2)语言能力目标
能根据图片听、说相应的单词,能运用What did you do? Where
did you go ?询问过去的事情,并能利用动词过去式熟练表达过去所做的事情。
(3)情感、策略和文化目标
培养学生学习的兴趣,鼓励学生积极合作,引导学生了解西方的名胜古迹。

1.Greetings:
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning,Miss Ma.
T:I’m very glad to see you again.First, Let’s sing a song.
“Where did you go yesterday?”(播放动画,拍手齐唱)

1. 师生自由讨论
T: Yesterday I went to the supermarket. Can you tell me What did you do at the weekend? (出示例句)
Ss: I read a book……..(给出图片提示)

课标提出要注重学生交际能力训练,而英语的交际功能又是在一定的语言情境中体现的,本环节结合课文既增强了师生的沟通,又在自然真实的语境中直接将所学的语言点展示给学生,起到为后续教学环节做铺垫的作用。

4. T:You did a very good job. In London, there are many famous places, such as:… I like Big Ben best. It’s very tall. What about you?
