一、教学内容： 　　
词汇：the British Museum, the London Eye, wheel, wonderful, understand, postcard 及动词过去式；
句型：What did you do at the weekend? Where did you go ？
学生情况说明：　　
所教学的对象是小学五年级的学生，根据儿童的心理和生理的特征，他们正处于活泼好动的最佳学习英语时期。因此，在教学中，以学生为主体，为了给孩子创设一个真实的语言情景，贴近学生的日常生活和实际，在教学中设计了孩子合作的活动、歌曲等，从而培养他们运用英语进行交际的能力，让学生体会到学习英语的乐趣。另外，充分利用多媒体帮助学生更好地学习，使学生在表达时语言更丰富。　　
二、教学目标：　　　　
1（1）语言知识目标
能听、说、认读本课的重点单词：the British Museum, the London Eye, wheel, wonderful, understand, postcard;能正确使用动词过去式；能利用What did you do? Where did you go?询问别人过去做的事情。
（2）语言能力目标
能根据图片听、说相应的单词，能运用What did you do? Where
did you go ?询问过去的事情，并能利用动词过去式熟练表达过去所做的事情。
（3）情感、策略和文化目标
培养学生学习的兴趣，鼓励学生积极合作，引导学生了解西方的名胜古迹。

Step I．Warm-up 　　
1.Greetings：　　
T: Good morning， boys and girls.　　
Ss: Good morning，Miss Ma.
T：I’m very glad to see you again.First, Let’s sing a song.
“Where did you go yesterday?”(播放动画，拍手齐唱) 　　
（设计说明)通过听听、唱唱、做做创设学习英语的氛围，活跃课堂气氛,调动了学生学习英语的积极性，拉近师生的距离。同时复习了句型，为新知的呈现做好铺垫。 　　
Step II．Presentation 　　
1. 师生自由讨论
T: Yesterday I went to the supermarket. Can you tell me What did you do at the weekend?　(出示例句)
Ss: I read a book……..(给出图片提示)

课标提出要注重学生交际能力训练，而英语的交际功能又是在一定的语言情境中体现的，本环节结合课文既增强了师生的沟通，又在自然真实的语境中直接将所学的语言点展示给学生，起到为后续教学环节做铺垫的作用。

You can answer the first question very well, what about the second one?

S: This is a small wheel. (感知wheel)
T:But Daming didn’t understand .教读understand.
So Amy sent him a postcard.教读postcard.(出示单词卡)
③What did Lingling like best?
Lingling like the bus ride best.
4. T：You did a very good job. In London, there are many famous places, such as:… I like Big Ben best. It’s very tall. What about you?

1. T: T: You can say it very well. Now, let’s listen, point and repeat.
Pay attention to your Pronunciation and intonation(用点读笔播放，纠正学生错误的发音)
