这是一个询问日期的句型。回答日期时,表示在某一天,用介词on,表示不含某一天的年、月以及季节用介词in。

【拓展】 询问日期的表达法,通常要用序数词来回答。表达顺序:月份+日期+年份。2008年4月2日 应表达为:April 2,2008 或者April 2nd,2008,读作:April(the)second two thousand and eight。Langue notes2.We have a basketball game against Class 6 on April 12.

Langue notes3.January is the first month of a new year.
first意为“第一”,属于序数词,它相应的基数词是one。表示顺序的数词称为序数词。序数词前一般需加“the”。
(1)“基数词”变“序数词”的口诀:
基变序,有规律,
一、二、三特殊记,first,second,third,
从四开始加th,八去t,九去e加th,
五、十二变ve为f加th,
整十后变y为ie加th,若想表示几十几,
只变个位就可以。
(2)表顺序时,基数词和序数词间可互相转换。
