2、本部分围绕“文化礼仪”这一话题展开,谈论不同国家在相同情境下的文化习俗。本部分的重难点是学习运用be supposed to和be expected to结构询问习俗和提出合理、可行的建议。
1a用图文形式,导入本单元的话题Customs,要求学生利用自己已有的知识初步判断,将国家与初次见面的礼仪进行匹配。
1b是听力训练,要求学生根据听力内容检测自己在1a的匹配是否正确,同时,呈现重点句型:What are people supposed to do when they meet for the first time?。
1c是口语训练,要求学生结对训练,利用1b输入的信息,运用be supposed to和be expected to结构就各国初次见面的情景进行回答,完成目标语言的输出。
2a-2c是听说训练,对话内容主要是交换生Maria在美国朋友家聚餐时犯的一些礼仪错误。2a主要通过听来选择Maria所犯的举止错误;2b要求学生关注Maria的礼仪举止错误,能够记录关键、有效信息;2c属于听力部分的延伸,让学生运用听力中的具体信息,进行分角色训练,运用be supposed to和be expected to结构,对目标语言进行输出。
2d是角色扮演,属于初次见面的话题,要求学生模仿示范对话进行口语操练,在语境中体会be supposed to的用法。
