Words-flash game.Teacher shows some pictures of fruits, foods and drinks, and asks students to say them as quickly as possible.
学生观看课件上闪现的图片迅速说出图片物品的英文。
此环节的主要目的是复习食物、水果及饮料的名称。激活学生已有的知识,为本节课话题的谈论做好铺垫。
讲授新课
1.Presentation
(1)Show the picture of Mike and say: This is Mike. He is playing jigsaw game. Where is Mike? How do you know that? Where do you play games?
Let the students guess: What time is it?
Then show a clock: It’s 5:30. It’s dinner time. And teach the new word:dinner.
Show the picture of mom and ask: Where is Mum? How do you know that?
Show the picture of a refrigerator and review the words have learned.
(2)Show the picture and the words one by one: tomato, potato, carrots, vegetables,green beans. They are vegetables. Show the pictures of fish, chicken, beef. And say: Mum doesn’t know what to cook for dinner. What will Mum do?
Look and listen. What does Mum say to Mike? What would you like for dinner? What would Mike for dinner?
Show the pictures of roasted chicken, fried chicken, boiled chicken, and ask: What would you like for dinner? And learn the new word: chicken.
(3)Mike would like some chicken. Does everyone would like chicken?
Show the picture and ask: What would you like ____________, John? Who is John? Role play.
(4)Ask a new question: Mike would like some chicken. John would like some tomato soup and vegetables. But who is missing?
Make a summary: Mum is making some chicken for Mike. And Mum is making tomato soup and vegetables for John. She is making …for herself.
Now Dinner is ready. Let’s enjoy the dinner. What do you think of the dinner?Their dinner has…Is is a balanced dinner? So, what should we say to Mum? What should we do next? Let’s eat them up. Don’t waste.
