What do you know about Confucius?
Confucius (about 551-479BC) was a Chinese thinker and social philosopher of the Spring and Autumn Period. He was also known as Zhong Ni (仲尼). He was born in the village of Zou in the country of Lu.

In the Lun Yu, we can read shorts analects about the Sage’s lives and his discussions with his disciples (弟子). This is maybe the first human scripture (手稿) giving someone’s detailed and realistic portrait. [?p?:tre?t] 人物描写
