We know different people, different hobbies, but sharing hobbies can make us happy .
1. General reading.
T: You want to join so many clubs. But do they need new members? Let’s go and see. Look, here’s the notice board. (课件闪现汉语意思)There are some notices or ads for the clubs. Who writes them? Let’s read quickly and silently, then try to answer. Let’s begin.
S1: Amy, John, Mike and Robin.
2. What are their hobbies?
Please read fast and find the answer.
(答案: Dancing football Reading and Science )
3.Read and write.
(1)T: Do the four people in the text want pen pals? And how many hobbies can you find in the text. Please read the passage carefully and try to write down the answers.
Tips for you: You can underline the key words. Pay attention to your hand-writing. Finished? Who can share your answers?
(2)T: Boys and girls, we use “likes” here, and dancing, playing, reading, learning here. Why?You can discuss in groups.
Tips:
(一)在一般现在时中,当主语是第三人称单数时,谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式,即常在动词原形后加-s或-es;(二)like后面跟动词的ing,表示喜欢做某事。
4. Detailed reading.
T: Amazing. There are four clubs need new members. If we want to join? How to join? When and where to meet? What do they have? Let read the passage carefully again and try to find the answers. For example, the first one:
