2、Draw and say
Draw the puppet and say with the sentence”this is ......”to describe the organs that learned and color it.
在纸上画一个你心目中的木偶,并用句子“this is.....”描述五官,并涂色。

Background Information
Textbook: 小学英语(三年级起点) 人教(PEP)版 三年级上册
Teacher: Mr. Chen/Dillon
Students: class 1, grade 3 in elementary school
Background of students:
They have the basic ability of listening, speaking and reading to some degree.
They have been familiar with some ways of greeting, but they actually do not know much more about greetings.
The students in this stage are often active and they are eager to express themselves in English.
Type of lesson: Conversation class.
Teaching Duration: 40min.
Teaching Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, the students are able to:
Understand the meaning of the conversation, speak the new sentences”Very well, thanks./Let’s make a puppet!/Great!”
Express the sentences in daily life.
Say hello to others in English in proper ways,remember to be polite to everybody and care for each other.
Teaching Contents:
Part B let’s talk in Unit 3 Look at me!
Teaching Focal Point:
Acknowledge different answers of “how are you” to understand the rich language; know how to give others suggestions with “Let’s make a puppet!”

(设计意图:A、B逐步复习,层次递进,把之前学过的内容编为一小段话,复习应该是语篇交际性的综合性的再学习,而不是简单的机械问答式复习。)

Ss: Yes,we are.(如果学生只是回答了yes,教师要引导出整个句子结构:Yes,we are.)

T:Very well.(注意very的发音,V轻微咬唇发音,/e/ 微笑;Well 做点赞手势) Very well means very good(非常好). Another word “Thanks”.Thanks. /ks/,Thanks means Thank you(谢谢你).别人主动和你打招呼,问候你,你要懂得感谢,说谢谢。
Ss:Very well,thanks.(学生完整试读一遍,教师纠正,最后完整跟读一遍)

All students are divided into two groups(boys and girls) to play the role following the video,imitate the pronunciation and the tongue.
(设计意图:通过模仿跟读、表演对话等活动加深理解,掌握所学语言,将文本完整的学习一遍,了解交际的环境,便于形成交际的意识)

同桌之间用新学习的问候方式互相问候打招呼,以强化练习,学生起来表演对话。
(设计意图:通过本环节活动和练习,由语言输入到语言输出。)

(设计意图:用绘画代替手工制作Puppet更加节省材料,避免花样繁杂影响学习效果,同时运用”this is....”句型练习)

Very well.(所以到目前,回答How are you?的有:very well;very good;fine;OK.适度拓展How are you?的不同回答语,避免答语的思维固化,别人主动和你打招呼,问候你,你要懂得感谢,说谢谢。同时也要问候关心对方。”very well, thanks,how are you?”)当然,以后会学习到更多关于How are you的不同回答方式。
②发起邀请的时候,我们经常用let’s...... 让我们.....
