Lesson 5 Let’s Perform a Play！
This is the fifth lesson in this unit. The main topic is a play called Three Little pigs, so improving the students’ abilities of listening and talking about the topic of play is very important.

Step 1. Greetings and warm-up activities
T: Today we will read about the three little pigs. Who knows this story? Can you retell it to the class briefly?
Step 2. Watch the cartoon
T: Long long ago, there were three little pigs. (课文导入）
Step 3. Listening and vocabulary
Play the recording in part 1.
Play it again and ask the students to retell the story they hear.
Step 4. Story Map
Draw a story map with a partner.
1. Print out a Story Map for each pair of students.
2. Re-explain each pair of students.
3. Tell students to work in pairs to fill in their Story Maps.
4. Students can illustrate their Story Maps.
Step 5. Let’s do it
How did the three pigs build their houses? Ask the students to write down it.
Step 6. Homework
Copy the words and text of Lesson 5.
Recite the text well and practice the words.
